Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard followed his gut.

Watching game tapes only reinforced the notion that his team needed to get younger, faster and tougher.Vontae Davis Jersey

So Ballard spent the offseason releasing aging team leaders, allowing other established starters to walk away in free agency and changing directions with mostly low-risk, relatively inexpensive gambles. Now everyone inside the organization is eager to see if Ballard’s bets pay off.Peyton Manning Jersey

“The hardest thing this year was staying disciplined in free agency, because I knew we needed to add, I knew the problems we were having, and the holes we needed to fill,Donte Moncrief Jersey” he said. “Staying disciplined to your process that was the hardest thing this year.”

At the moment, it’s impossible to know exactly where the Colts’ transition stands.

NFL rules prohibit contact during offseason workouts and restrict teams from putting on pads for the first three days of training camp. Indy’s wait ends Tuesday when the team could get its first glimpse at a camp Pagano and Ballard have promised will be more physical.

For now, though,Andrew Luck Jersey there are more questions than answers.

Defensive lineman Johnathan Hankins and linebacker Jabaal Sheard must show they can be locker room leaders while receiver Kamar Aiken, linebacker John Simon and nose tackle Al Woods will be put in more prominent roles.

As first-round draft pick Malik Hooker and converted right guard Jack Mewhort continue to fight back from injuries, former first-round picks Phillip Dorsett and Barkevious Mingo will have another chance to demonstrate they can finally live up to their pre-draft hype.

geneEugene L. Evans Manufacturing Company was founded by my father, Eugene L. Evans Sr. on April 1st 1950.

World War II had ended and a building boom was going on in the United States. The demand for aluminum window and door awnings was very high especially since people didn't have air conditioning. Homes were different then too. Most people had front porches and they would gather around them in the afternoon to talk about the day's news and events.

Our company did hundreds of porch awnings to help keep the hot sun and rain from dampening their social gatherings.

The company provided a lot of services including ornamental iron railings, asbestos siding, underpinning, venetian blinds, gutters, shutters, storm windows, carports, patio covers and screen rooms.

Many emerging businesses used awnings on their store fronts to protect their customers and offer shade from the hot sun. Today you can still drive up and down Noble Street in Anniston, Alabama and see awning after awning doing that very thing.

In 1988 we incorporated and my father turned the reins of the business over to me, Eugene L. Evans, Jr., naming me President and CEO.

Both Mom and Dad "Evelyn and Eugene" continued to work up until about 1999. My sister, Lisa worked with us as well from 1993 until 2010. Today she is a registered nurse living in Northern California.

We have always been a family business and hopefully always will be. My daughter, Sara and I now run things. We are committed to uphold the high standards of workmanship and business ethics that my father and mother set.

We have a great staff of employees, some who have been here over 10 years. In the past before the first generation faded, we had employees like Alvin Lovell, Tebo Camp, John Craft, Buddy Hurst, Larris Matson and Virginia Shirley, who had been here over 10, 20, 30 and 40 years.

We have a large list of satisfied customers and repeat customers some who have purchased over 10 times. We cover a radius of 150 miles of Anniston and do a lot of work in the Western part of Georgia.

Today our products have endured and emerged to include:

Canvas and Aluminum Awnings, Patio Covers, Carports, Sunrooms and Screenrooms, Walkway and Loading Dock Covers, Handrails and Burglar Bars, Retractable Awnings, Roller Shades and Clear Vinyl Panels.
